Hola Museu Alien, Barcelona

To celebrate the 4Oth anniversary of James Cameron’s masterpiece Aliens, our group flew out to Barcelona to visit the world-famous Museu Alien.

The museum is a true shrine for Alien enthusiasts. Run by superfan collector Luis Escribano, it features an extraordinary collection of replica and screen used props, along with immersive walk-through experiences inspired by the original 1979 Alien, its 1986 sequel Aliens, and other films in the franchise.

Seeing screen-used props up close like the Nostromo RXF-M5 EVA pistol, the Hadley’s Hope tricycle, Andy’s neck data drive from Alien: Romulus, and rare behind-the-scenes photos was genuinely humbling. After the tour, we did a small photoshoot and captured some videos, which we’ll be sharing soon.

We were also lucky enough to explore the new, much larger museum space that’s still under development. Getting a preview of upcoming exhibits, including screen-used items from Dune, Predator, and Starship Troopers made the experience even more special. We were absolutely in heaven.

Huge thanks to Luis and Vicenç for welcoming us so warmly, and to Arnau Rectoret for capturing the moment so perfectly. We’re already wondering... when can we go back?
