Wee Lomond Walk... A Tribute to The Fog and The Mist

Yesterday we tackled the highest points in Fife, the Lomond Hills, to help raise money for the great charity Cash for Kids: Edinburgh, The Lothians, Fife & Falkirk.

With an early start, there was heavy mist from the offset as we set off up the East Lomond, the iconic extinct volcano. Thankfully there were no murderous pirates or flesh-hungry monsters along the way, just a handful of genuinely confused sheep. It was very windy, wet... and misty.

Next up was The much larger challenge of the West Lomond. It took much longer, almost double in time, ...but there were just as many sheep and just as much fog. A small break on the way down helped before taking on the East Lomond one more time.

We headed into Falkland afterwards with some facehuggers and a Xeno head to try and scare some of the locals and tourists on the high street. Although the scary fog and lateness of the day seemed to have spooked most folk away, so the pub called for a well earned drink and rest.

Still to add up the totals, but so far we have managed to raise £35O.OO online through the donation page, where you can still make A donation.
