Comic Con Scotland: Judgement Day

The group had an amazing time at Comic Con Scotland last weekend, taking place in the gigantic Royal Highland Centre, Edinburgh. Showcasing our Aliens and Judge Dredd displays, it was brilliant to have other groups near us this time. Lots of Star Wars, Ghostbusters and Dr. Who fun ...though, sadly no Davros!

The weather was kind... no rain, it wasn't too cold. Although, the pigeons were at it again, even Optimus Prime was being attacked! Luckily we had an army of Judges, Colonial Marines, Predators and Xenos to tackle them.

Rosario Dawson visited our display and talked about how much she loved the world of Aliens and Alien: Earth, which was great – and later she had a face to face encounter with one of our Xenos! Xolo Maridueña bumped into one of the group's daughter and friend and told them how much he loved their floppy ear hats – that made their weekend!

We were raising for Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home this year, and managed to raise £466.22. Yet again, all the staff at the venue were amazing - many thanks to all of them and Monopoly for having us. Looking forward to the next event!
