Capital Sci-Fi Con 2O26

We were at Edinburgh's Corn Exchange over the weekend, for the amazing Capital Sci-Fi Con. Nestled in the corner of the Baron Suit, with our Aliens and Judge Dredd displays, we had a great time and were kept busy throughout. The nerf facehugger targets were spinning in the firing range, the sweets pile in the alien egg got lower and lower over the weekend and the intrigue in the props table was ever present. Meanwhile Judges were recruiting new members and brandishing attendees with temporary tattoos and raising funds for CHAS with author Paul Deadeye's first issue of his Lovecraftian western comic Pale Moon Grimm.

There were so many other great activities over the weekend... too many to name all of them. We had the pleasure of having the exceptional Jimi Henson Experience perform in the same room as us as well as some great Stranger Things and Harry Potter displays, the CHiPS bike and a huge Super Mario and Luigi... VERY HUGE! It was brilliant to have the Model Bunch group back along with Star Wars and Star Trek displays and a perilous Lego walk... We were so busy I barely made it into the main hall! The biggest room of the building included stalls, Ghostbuster displays and this year's guests: Peggy, AKA Dogpool, Kevin McNally, James Mackenzie, Nola Klop, Dee Tails, Murray McArthur, Samantha Alleyene and Shauna Macdonald.

As Capital Sci-Fi Con returned for its eleventh year, they have raised over £484,O14.62 for CHAS (Children's Hospices Across Scotland) so far! There is currently an auction running until Monday 2nd March with some awesome items, go and check it out!
